This is a large and rare bisque porcelain footed centerpiece planter. This beautiful centerpiece features two winged cherubs sitting on a bridge fashioned out of the fallen leaves and foliage of the tree behind them. The planters are on each side of the bridge and are about 3.5 inches deep. The piece is hand-painted with pastel colors and gold gilding highlights. Made in the mid 20th-century. The bottom is stamped "Made in Japan".
This large piece measures approximately 9 inches long by 6 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall.
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
